Andrea holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences in International Development and Globalization from the University of Ottawa and a Master of Urban Planning from McGill University. She has worked extensively in the non-profit and international development sectors, both in Canada and abroad, including carrying out research design and monitoring and evaluation as an Aga Khan Foundation Canada Fellow. While at McGill, she focused her independent research and studio work on the impact short-term rentals on housing markets, urban tourism and gentrification, and sustainable urban design. Andrea currently works as a Client Consultant with Eco-Counter where she helps cities, parks, and community organizations across North America use data to create sustainable public spaces and promote active transportation.
